EPRI Tank Vibration Sensor

Transformer Vibration Sensor: This task is developing an RF sensor to measure vi- bration on transformer tanks. To date a sensor has been installed on an in-service transformer tank to assess the feasibility. The sensor provides a measure of both the harmonic and displacements occurring in real-time. Further algorithm developments are required before a field demonstration.
